All Brooks Power Systems models that are rated 15 Amps or 20 Amps at 125 Volts and ETL Certified to UL1363 (Standard for Relocatable Power Taps) now have the option of being GFCI protected. A ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) is a special type of outlet that detects dangerous ground faults and immediately turns off the power to stop shocks.
The GFCI plug is attached to the end of the power cord protecting both outlets and loads plugged into the power strip’s receptacles.
The addition of this feature in our models increases the overall safety of Brooks Power Systems products, especially when used in compromised locations or near water sources.
Following are some of the new models that use the GFCI Plugs: BN15-XX-YY-ZZ-GF, BN20-XX-YY-ZZ-GF, BL15-XX-YY-ZZ-GF, BL20-XX-YY-ZZ-GF, SL15-XX-YY-ZZ-GF, SL20-XX-YY-ZZ-GF, BPS-HG15-XX-YY-ZZ-GF, RM 120-GF, RM 130-GF, RM 220-GF, RM 230-GF, RM 240-GF, RM 250-GF, RM 280-GF, RM 290-GF, RM 720-GF, RM 730-GF, RM 740-GF, RM 750-GF
